Rumour: China Mobile to get two LTE Windows Phone 8 handsets in 2013

imageWPDang reports that China Mobile, China’s biggest carrier with 670 million subscribers, will be getting two Windows Phone 8 handsets in 2013.

The devices from only one Windows Phone OEM will run on their new TD-LTE network.

The OEM has not been confirmed, and could be either Nokia, Huawei, ZTE, who all had a role in developing TD-LTE.

The Chinese smartphone market has recently overtaken the US in size, so having a Windows Phone present on China’s biggest carrier is very welcome.
