Microsoft and Adobe hardly partner with each other as they compete with both platform and their tooling products. Today I came across a interesting rumor based on a insider tip from former Microsoft Product Manager that Adobe and Microsoft are partnering to make developer tools for casual gaming on Windows 8. We know that Adobe is already on path to kill its Flash platform and Microsoft sidelining Silverlight, XNA and both of them moving towards HTML5. It makes perfect sense if Adobe makes developer tools for making casual games on Windows 8 based on HTML5 which also benefits Microsoft on getting more developers on board. In someway, Adobe may regain its control of online casual gaming market by this new partnership with Microsoft. Who knows what will happen ? This may be a real story or a great dream ! !
