With Sony acquiring the marketing rights to some of Fall’s biggest releases like Call of Duty: WWII, Destiny 2, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Star Wars: Battlefront II, Xbox One fans were hoping that Microsoft would acquire marketing rights for more games coming out during Holiday 2017—besides Middle-earth: Shadow of War. According to renowned industry insider shinobi602, the company has marketing rights to a major upcoming AAA game that hasn’t been announced yet. What could it be?
So there's a major unannounced AAA that Microsoft has marketing on. Not bad Xbox. Bring on E3.

There’s some speculation that this game is possibly Ubisoft’s next Assassin’s Creed title called Assassin’s Creed Origins or Assassin’s Creed Empire. However, it might just be the leaked Thief game in the works at Square Enix. We just don’t know at this point. Microsoft’s E3 2017 press briefing is scheduled for June 11 so we’ll have to wait for that. There are also rumors that this upcoming game will be a showcase title for Project Scorpio. Hopefully we’ll know more by next month.
