The lack of support for middle-eastern languages has been a real sticking point for Windows Phone 7 fans in the area.
We have previously posted that Nokia claimed support would come only in the second half of 2012.
Now a job post at Microsoft has looking for a SDET in Windows Phone to work on the keyboard of “the next generation of mobile phone operating system†with “Arabic, Hebrew, Urdu, or similar complex script languages†experience suggests this work is now finally underway.
Hopefully the work will be as awesome as their Western keyboard, which is widely lauded.
See the job post after the break.
