Ring release new Video Doorbell 2 with easy swap rechargeable battery

Ring has released a new version of their Ring Video Doorbell. Ring Video Doorbell 2 features 1080P 160-degree video recording, configurable motion-detection zones, and works on both hard-wire and battery power.

Crucially, however, the battery can now be easily swapped, with Ring selling extra batteries, meaning it is now easy to keep your device powered 24/7.

The device is also now cheaper at $199, offering live video, two-way audio, and mobile alerts plus cloud-based video-recording for $3 per month.

The Ring Video Doorbell 2 is fully supported on Windows 10, with the app available in the store below. Find the new Ring Video Doorbell 2 at Ring’s website here.
