Resident Evil 7: Biohazard now has a demo for Xbox One gamers

Interested in playing the revitalised Resident Evil franchise’s newest entry? Capcom has just released a demo of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, into the Xbox Games store. While there previously was a demo available for consoles, it was limited to Sony’s Playstation 4 – leaving users of the Xbox One out in the metaphorical cold.

Now gamers who own an Xbox One may have the opportunity to get a taste of the new game prior to its release. If you’re a PC gamer, not to worry – Capcom will be bringing the game to the Windows Store on release, but you can also grab a demo via the Steam game store in just over a week.

Resident Evil 7 is a new take on the franchise that attempts to return it to its roots. Unlike previous entries into the series which leaned heavily into third person shooter tropes, Biohazard is a game which is entirely about horrifying the player in new and interesting ways.

It will be released on the 24th of January, 2017. It will be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows 10PC gamers both via Steam and the Windows 10 Game store.

If you’d like to pre-order a physical copy of the Xbox One version of the game, you can find it on Amazon here.
