Report: Windows 9 Technical Preview Coming Only In October

After months of rumors and reports, last week an internal build of upcoming Windows 9 build named ‘Windows Technical Preview’ with build number 9834 got leaked on the web. The leaked screenshots revealed number of upcoming features in Windows 9. First, you can see the new Start Menu which includes Live Tiles and other modern apps. Second, you can see the way to switch between multiple desktop environments widely known as Virtual Desktops. Third, you have notifications center which can be accessed from taskbar. Fourth, you have the charms bar options in a new menu in the title bar of the app. Fifth, you can see Windowed modern apps. Sixth, you can notice the new flatter look for desktop UI elements.

Based on previous reports, Microsoft was expected to release Windows 9 Technical Preview to the public on September 30th. Now, according to the latest reports, Microsoft will be showing of Windows Technical Preview at its press event on Sep 30th, but the preview will be released only in the month of October.
