Report: New Animations For Opening And Closing Of Windows Coming In The Upcoming Windows 10 Preview Build

Windows 10 Snap Enhancements

It has been some time since a new Build of Windows 10 (aka Windows Technical Preview) has been out to those enrolled in the Technical Preview. The current build that is downloadable is Build 9841. But, the guys at Neowin posted a report that a new build (presumably Build 9860) will be coming out in the near future and will host new features and mainly bug fixes.

The report says that a “pop” like animation is coming to window opening and minimizing. This gives Windows 10 a comprehensive feel. When a windows is opened, it flies onto the screen from the icon and when minimized, it collapses back into the icon. If you are a Mac user, you would have gotten used to this animation and it is similar, but not similar to the Mac animations which are usually quite “dramatic” in nature.

I am waiting for this build to be officially released and we will cover this build up as soon as it arrives to the public.
