The new Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro is one of the finest Ultrabooks available out there in the market. The new Yoga 2 Pro is thinner(15mm thick) and lighter (1.39kg) than the previous models and it comes with CPUs up to Intel’s 4th generation Core i7 U series processors. The main highlight is the 13.3-inch IPS 178° wide angle, 16:9 QHD+ 10 point touchscreen, that has a screen resolution of 3200 x 1800. You can configure up to a 512GB SSD for storage as well.
Today, reports on the next generation Lenovo Yoga 3 pro device got leaked. The device will be powered by next gen Intel Core M-5Y70 SoC, which is the fastest of the first new “Broadwell” Y chips, which operates with a base clock of 1.1 GHz and can reach up to 2.6 GHz via Turbo Boost. More importantly, the power consumption of the chip lies at only 4.5 watts, which is significantly lower than the “Haswell” U SoCs which had power consumption up to 17 watt TDP.
Other than the CPU, the device will come the same QHD+ display in a new design with gold / white colored casing and pricing just under 1,300 euros.
