Beats Music already has an official app in Windows Phone Store. With Beats Music subscription, you can have unlimited, ad-free access to over 20 million songs from every genre and even download to listen offline. Last year, Apple acquired Beats and surprisingly it allowed the development of Beats app on other platforms to continue.

According to the report from 9to5mac, Apple is planning to release a completely new paid streaming music service based on Beats technologies. In this process, they will continue to develop Android app, but they will cease the development on Windows Phone platform for obvious reasons.

However, while a Windows Phone version of the original Beats service exists, Apple does not currently plan to develop a new app for Microsoft’s platform due to its modest market share, nor is it planning a new version of the service for web browsers.

Hopefully, Microsoft will further improve Xbox Music service to equalize the loss of Beats Music app in Windows Phone Store.
