Rejected Verizon Windows Phone gets a code-name–“Om”

At the end of December 2011 we posted that Verizon had rejected the Nokia Lumia 900 LTE, and would sit out Windows Phone 7 handsets until Apollo.

Today the Verge added a but more colour to the article, saying the handset was code-named “Om” and that Microsoft’s retail stores were poised to stock the device in January and early February until the cancelation.

There however remains rumours of a low-end Windows Phone with LTE for Verizon, and I think it would be silly for Verizon to force their Windows Phone fans to leave to AT&T by not carrying even one new Windows Phone for the rest of the year.
