References of the new iPad Pro design found in the iOS code

Apple is all set to announce the new iPad Pro at their event tomorrow. We reported earlier that the new iPad Pro will come with a new design, the rumour is now confirmed, thanks to the iOS code.

The folks over at 9to5Mac found an iPad Pro icon hidden in the iOS code which confirms the leaked renders of the device. The iPad Pro is rumoured to come with a 12.9-inch display which will extend to the edges as there won’t be a home button. Apple has decided to replace the fingerprint scanner with Face ID so we might see a bunch of sensors on the top of the device along with the front camera.

The iPad Pro will also be thinner than the older generations at 5.86mm. Unfortunately, this means that Apple will ditch the headphone jack and will have just one port for both charging and connecting an earphone. The device is rumoured to cost around $500 and will ship soon after the launch.
