Rockstar games yesterday announced that Red Dead Redemption will be released for Xbox One as part of Xbox One Backward Compatibility program this coming Friday, July 8th. Following this announcement, Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition sales rank is now up 7,095% on Amazon. It has moved up to 22nd position from 1,583 in a day! Red Dead Redemption sales rank is now up 1,250% on Amazon. It has moved up to 53rd position from 716 in a day! Red Dead Redemption was one of the most-demanded titles since Xbox One backward compatibility program was announced at E3 2015 and this increase in sales on Amazon is an another proof for the high interest on this title among gamers.

If you already own Red Dead Redemption game on Xbox 360, you can now play it on Xbox One regardless of which version of the game you own (Red Dead Redemption, Undead Nightmare and Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition).
