While it has yet to beat the yearly colossal success of EA’s FIFA series, Red Dead Redemption 2 has already become the second-biggest launch of 2018.
This doesn’t count any of the game’s digital sales which, despite its humongous 107 gigabyte download size, are still performing well. The game isn’t doing as well as Rockstar’s last game, GTA V, which sold two million copies in its last-gen launch week.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a guaranteed success for Rockstar, especially with the game’s online offering releasing next week.
