Warning: Spoilers

Mexico was a rather large section of the original Red Dead Redemption’s map, and many were sad to see it absent from the large landmass of Rockstar’s sequel. However, gamers have found a way to access the country inside Red Dead Redemption 2.

Once completing the main story and you’re playing as John Marston, you can go back to visit New Austin. YouTuber ZacCoxTV has discovered a way to access the hidden section of the map by riding your horse against the shoreline and aggressively running and jumping against an invisible wall.

Once inside, you’ll have to spawn a horse through an in-game cheat code so that you can explore the map at a quicker pace. The original game’s El Presido is available to explore, but it’s low poly, poorly textured and unfinished.

Fan theories claim that Mexico could be used as an opening for the game’s upcoming Red Dead online, but there’s, of course, no confirmation of that.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on Xbox One for $59.99/£59.99.
