Razer unveils colortastic Wolverine Ultimate gaming controller for Xbox One and PC

We all know what Razer is by now. Well, today they announced the officially licensed Razer Wolverine Ultimate gaming controller for Xbox One and PC. The Razer Wolverine Ultimate was designed to adapt itself to any gamer. Just like the Xbox Elite Controller, the implement features interchangeable D-pads, a range of interchangeable thumbsticks, and remappable triggers and buttons.

However, that’s not the best part. The best part is that it has an integrated lighting strip that can be controlled through their software. Gamers can choose from almost 17 million colors and a variety of effects. It’s a gorgeous controller which is on par with Razer’s beautiful keyboards.

Additionally, the Razer Wolverine Ultimate will be the first console product to support the Razer Chroma SDK, allowing developers to integrate advanced lighting capabilities for Xbox One games, and console controllers for next level gaming immersion. So, your controller may glow red if you’re shooting a bunch of demons in Doom and so on.

Now comes the slightly bad news. I know all of you want one but it’s going to set you back $160. That’s more than the Xbox Elite Controller and I’m pretty sure this one is wired. It’ll launch in September on Razer’s website and will be available worldwide towards the end of the year. While it’s a gorgeous controller, the price may be a bit too much for some people.
