Razer is today launching a new version of its Blade Pro laptop. The refreshed Blade Pro is way cheaper than the previous one, but it still offers almost the same power as the original Blade Pro. The new Blade Pro costs only $2299, that’s a lot cheaper than the original $4000 price. And for the lower price, you are not losing a lot.
In fact, the only major difference here is the display. Instead of the old 4K display, the cheaper Blade Pro now comes with a Full HD display. The 17.3-inch display comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and it should still be able to offer a really good gaming experience on the go. Unless you are a hardcore gamer and care about all the tiny details that you get to experience on 4K, the Full HD display should work just fine for you. Along with the display, the cheaper Blade Pro packs a slightly lower powered GPU: instead of the GTX 1080, you are now getting the GTX 1060 with the cheaper variant.
Razer interestingly isn’t upgrading the process with the new Blade Pro, and you are still getting the old 7th gen quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with the refreshed device. Out of the box, the Blade Pro comes with 16GB of RAM but you can expand that to 32GB if you want more power. For the storage, you are getting the usual 256GB of PCIe SSD storage and 2TB HDD. And if that’s not enough, you can upgrade it to have a 2TB SSD and a 4TB HDD.
You can get the new Razer Blade Pro from its official website here.
