Xiaomi’s second iteration of their gaming smartphone, the Black Shark 2, has now launched in Indian territories.
Powered by a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 paired with a Kryo 485 CPU, the Black Shark 2 has a tonne of CPU juice. Combined with the system’s Adreno 640 GPU, 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a weighty 256GB of internal storage, it’s a very powerful rival for the Razer Phone 2.
The Xiaomi device also spouts a beautiful AMOLED 2340×1080 display, a gorgeous RGB back-panel logo, fast-charging, a 3.5mm audio hack, a 4,000mAh battery, 27-watt fast charging and all the connectivity options you could want, outside of 5G networking.
For Indian customers, the device will only be sold through Flipkart for the foreseeable future, just like Asus’ ROG Phone. You can choose between three colours: Shadow Black, Frozen Silver and Glory Blue.
The lowest-powered version of the Black Shark 2 is available for Rs 39,999 and includes 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The 12G/256GB version costs Rs 49,999.
