Quick Review on World Cup 2010 App

World Cup 2010 is one more app to bring you full coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa.

While everyone in the world is busy watching soccer, most of us here in the US do not pay much attention to it (which after yesterday’s performances by the UK’s Goalie VS USA… I would recommend watching), this application makes keeping track on events easy. This freeware released quite a bit ago, is something I have been using for the last two days, and I think its time for me to do a quick review on it.

The application was made to keep you up to date on the results, and from my experience it does a great job on doing so. This application works a little similar to how Windows Phone 7 will do. It has many different pages, which are all accessible by sliding left to right through the top panel. This application also takes on the idea that having text crossing over another page makes you want to know more on it, and so as you can see in the image in the left… it has protruding words on the right, and left, to make you want to cross over tabs.

This application is well design, and everything looks great, works nicely, and is very functional. With animated transitions, smooth menus, and fast loading/updating, using this application can be quite fun even if your not much of a Football(soccer) fan.
