Developer Submission: Questie is now as public beta (V0.9.90.0) available in the Store

I’m a hobby Windows app developer and after 2 years of programming and testing the, first Windows Phone 8.1 app and later Windows 10 UWP app Questie is finally ready for publishing as beta in the Windows Store.

What is Questie? Questie is an app where you can perform quests on a Windows 10 mobile phone. Those quests can have several surprising challenges and questions or assignments where the GPS will guide you. Besides game-like quests you can also take GPS-assisted city tours.

Watch also the full demo from the management menu on both desktop and phone app. The demo gives you a perfect overview of the capabilities of Questie and with the GPS simulated quests you get a near real life experience.

On the phone, but better on a desktop Windows 10 device, you can create your own quests. Create many exiting challenges or create your own city tours and publish them in the build-in store. You can invite 2 people to perform your quest for free or invite more people by purchasing credits in-app.

In the in-app store you can download quests where you can always try out the first 2 challenges before you decide to buy the complete quest.

For each quest which is bought by someone you earn credits. You can use this credits to download quests from the store, or, when the app is not beta in the near future, you can cash out the credits.

Since Questie is beta, the store is almost empty, but do not let that keep you from creating great quests and publish them in the store!

Enjoy Questie and please make use of the feedback button in the main menu in the managing section of the app.
