PSA: Windows Store is currently causing publishing delays for apps

If you recently published a new app to the Windows Store, and it’s yet to be published, you are not alone. The Windows Store is currently experiencing some issues related to publishing and app submissions. According to Microsoft, it may take several days before a new app or IAP submission is visible to the consumers in the Store. Additionally, the Windows Store Dashboard may not show all IAP acquisition report data correctly, which is quite concerning. The company stated:

“We’re currently experiencing some issues that are causing publishing delays. It may take several days before new app or IAP submission are visible in the Store. We’re working on resolving this, and will remove this alert once the problem has been fixed. For some developers, the Acquisition report and/or IAP acquisition report (or APIs used to access those reports) may not currently show all data correctly. We’re working on resolving this, and will remove this alert once the problem has been fixed.”

If you are a developer and want to submit a new app, you will probably have to wait a few days before the app is available to the public. Hopefully, Microsoft will fix the issues sometime soon — and we will let you know once that happens.
