Nokia’s entry-level Lumia handset, the Nokia Lumia 610, is set to hit Boost Mobile , an MVNO on Optus’s 3G network in June the 4th this year. It will enjoy a month of exclusivity before the handset arrived on Vodafone and other major retailers in July.
The handset, which will be locked to the network, will retail for 299 pre-paid with a $40 recharge credit (an effective handset price of $259) and an outright RRP by Nokia of $329.
This price seems to be about on par with what the phone costs in Europe, but could of course be somewhat cheaper, and will likely drift down in time.
