PlayStation has opened up the pre-orders for next years Gran Turismo 7, and, surprisingly, things don’t get too outrageous for once.
Pre-ordering games still might not be the best idea considering the state that some games launch in, but Polyphony Digital are at least being sensible, offering a not too outlandish, or expensive, smattering of incentives for pre-ordering Gran Turismo 7.
No matter which edition or where you choose to pre-order the game, you’ll be treated to the following in-game bonuses:
- Toyota Castrol TOM’S Supra
- Mazda RX-VISION GT3 Concept (Stealth)
- Porsche 917K Living Legend
- 100,000 in-game Credit (CR)
With the most expensive Digital Deluxe Edition of Gran Turismo 7 only clocking in at £89.99, the game’s pre-orders almost feel reasonable, especially since it’ll net you dual entitlement, which usually runs a $10 upgrade fee over the standard PlayStation 4 edition of the game.
With this Digital Deluxe Edition, you might not be getting a huge statue to show off, but you will get the game’s soundtrack, in-game manufacturer avatars, a Toyota GR Yaris with country-specific Livery, and 1,600,000 in-game credits.
As was announced previously, following Horizon Forbidden West’s pre-order debacle, Gran Turismo 7 will have a digital upgrade option for $10, so you can upgrade your PlayStation 4 edition into a PlayStation 5 version.
With cheating off the table thanks to Gran Turismo 7’s always-online requirement, which will supposedly stop the “people trying to modify the save data,” these extra cars and credits you get for pre-ordering the game will be the only way to a step ahead come launch day, but we’re hoping that wouldn’t be Polyphony Digital’s only reason to combat cheating.
Gran Turismo 7 is due to launch next year on the 4th of March for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles.
