Pinspiration Adds Connections to Facebook and Twitter

Pinspiration, the best way to browse Pinterest, on Windows Phone has been updated with new features for both people who have accounts and those who love to browse the site without an account.

For those who haven’t heard of Pinterest , it has been described as the next big thing in social media and is now growing as fast as Facebook did in 2006. It just hit 10 million active users faster than any stand-alone site ever.

Pinterest is a virtual pinboard. Pinterest allows you to organize and share all the  beautiful things you find on the web. You can browse pinboards created by other people to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests.

Browse Facebook and Twitter Profiles of Pinterest Users

Pinterest users can associate their Pinterest account with their Facebook and Twitter accounts. Now when viewing the profile of a Pinterest user, you can also see icons directing you to their Facebook and Twitter profiles in the app bar.

This feature is available even if you are using the app without being logged in to Pinterest.

Post Your Pins to Facebook and Twitter

One feature users of Pinspiration have been asking for is the ability to share their pins on Facebook and Twitter if they have connected those accounts to their Pinterest account. With our latest update, the Add Pin dialog now has checkboxes to enable sharing to Facebook or Twitter when pinning or repinning an item.

If you haven’t given Pinspiration a try. You should. Pinterest is an amazing community where you will find some great pictures that will brighten your day, every day.
