Photoplay photo sharing networking app to get a significant upgrade on Windows Phone

While Windows Phone users have not been officially welcomes into the Instagram photo sharing network, Photoplay has been more than happy to share the fun with Windows Phone users.

The photo sharing network claims to offer everything Instragram does, plus additional privacy settings to share with only those you intend to.

Now the company has revealed that a significant upgrade to their Windows Phone app is on the way.

The app will soon support Push Notifications and have a Live Tile, and will later get a Windows Phone 7 and Windows 8 version.

In addition the service will be accessible via the web and support multiple devices on the same account at the same time.

At present the app features:play

  • ability to repost photos
  • extended search
  • blur, tilt-shift, brightness and contrast
