Pharos Traveler 137 finally shows up on FCC

pharos137 For T-Mobile US Windows Mobile fans the last few years has been rather fallow, with no high-performance Windows Mobile phones available for ages now. The Pharos Traveler 137 has been announced some months ago, and the 3.5 inch WVGA screened device with T-Mobile’s 3G frequency cover promised to break this dry spell, but the device has been rather slow to come to the market, and will likely very soon go up against the T-Mobile’s version of the HTC Touch Pro 2 with very similar specs.

If your tastes however tend towards the black slab keyboard-less look the Traveler 137 may still be the device you are after. The device has just been revealed on the FCC, and  a series of external and internal pictures, and the draft manual is available to read there. The manual does not reveal any significant Pharos-led customizations to the OS, but the device is expected to ship in early June with a version of Spb Mobile Shell pre-installed.
