Outlook Mail and Calendar apps for Windows 10 gets updated with UI tweaks

Microsoft recently released a new update for the Outlook Mail and Calendar apps on Windows 10. The latest update is a minor one, and it doesn’t bring a lot of new features. With the latest update, both of the apps get new icons – as you can see in the above screenshot. Other than that, there isn’t any major new improvements on this latest update for the apps. However, it’s worth noting that with the latest update, both of the apps don’t have a blue background when you pin them to the taskbar, and they now display monochromatic icons – which looks pretty nice.

Microsoft has also made some other tiny improvements to the user interface. For example, both of the apps now have coloured title bars (blue), which looks pretty nice as well. Both of the apps feel a bit cleaner and polished with the latest update, and they’re indeed getting closer to their primetime.
