Outlook Groups App Updated With New Features And 11 New Languages Support

Microsoft today announced an update to Outlook Groups apps on Windows Phone, iOS and Android, the Outlook Groups app. This app enables you to have conversations, view and edit files stored in SharePoint, access a shared OneNote notebook, @mention colleagues and groups and even discover other relevant groups. They have also added new features such as the ability to create Office 365 Groups and more.

New features:

  • Create new Office 365 Groups.
  • Add and remove members and owners of existing groups.
  • View a person’s profile card—including contact information, where they fit within the organization and their list of Group memberships.

In addition, Outlook Groups now supports the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Russian, Chinese Simplified and Chinese Traditional, with more coming soon.
