Outlook for iOS gets 3D Touch support

With the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, Apple introduced a new feature dubbed as “3D Touch” which allows users to easily access an app’s quick actions, or use the Peek and Pop features (if available). Today, Microsoft added 3D Touch support for the official Outlook for iOS. With the latest update, users can now create new emails, events, and access their calendar just by force touching the app on their home screen.

Additionally, Microsoft is also adding the ability to print any message or conversation using the Outlook app, which is also a very nice addition. Here’s the changelog for version 2.0.8:

  • 3D touch is available for all iOS 9 users right from the Outlook icon to create new emails and events or access the calendar directly.
  • Finally, you can now print any message or conversation from the email view. Check out the top right corner of the app to try it out.

The latest update for Outlook for iOS, version 2.0.8 is now available on the App Store and you can grab it here.
