Has your Outlook.com email gone suspiciously quiet? It may be because your phone is not synchronizing any email.
It appears quite a few devices are currently experiencing issues synching email from Outlook.com/Hotmail.com, and that includes hosted domains such as our WMPoweruser.com account. Unfortunately rebooting my phone does not fix the issue.
Microsoft’s Service Status page does not report any issue, but the problem has been ongoing for at least 3 hours.
UPDATE #2: Looks like the services are back up and running!
UPDATE: Microsoft is aware of this issue and has updated its Service Status page. The company stated:
“We are aware that users of the following mail clients are experiencing issues syncing and sending email. We are working on the issue and expect resolution in the next 24 hours. – Windows Live Mail – Outlook Connector – MSN Premium client. – Windows Phone 8.1 – Windows 8 Mail Client”
