Outlook for Android updated with Calendar apps support for more users

Microsoft earlier announced Calendar apps for Outlook on iOS and Android, a feature which allowed other apps to integrate into outlook and allow users to view data from them without leaving the main outlook app.

This Outlook app update – despite being announced at the start pf the month – didn’t roll out for all users at the same time, and some users were complaining of being unable to access calendar apps on their devices.

Now, Microsoft has updated Outlook for Android on the Google play store with support for these Calendar apps – three of which includes Evernote, Facebook and Wunderlist.

While Windows phone users are able to duplicate functionality related to Facebook for now, Evernote and Wunderlist’s lackluster support for Windows phone means that those features are unlikely to make their way to the Windows 10 Outlook app anytime soon.

For Android and iOS users, this is just another step in making Microsoft Outlook the one stop app for all your email and task management needs.
