Microsoft, not long ago, dished out an updated OneNote app for Android, which includes improvements to the search features and pen functionality.
Office Insider users may also have noticed an update in their OneNote app. Now, upon adding a Notebook, you’ll receive a dialog box, as shown in the tweet by project manager of the MicrosoftEDU team, Mike Tholfsen.
NEW! When you click "+ Add Notebook" in #OneNote, you'll now be greeted with a more helpful dialog to help you get your new notebook ? and default sections set up easily ?

The update allows you to set up the notebook and default sections with ease, making for a more efficient note-taking experience for students. Whilst it’s only available for Insider users now, the app will roll out to the standard app users in due course.
