Microsoft today introduced some new features for OneNote on Windows, iOS, and Android. With the latest update for OneNote for desktops (Windows and Mac), the company is introducing support for embedded videos. The latest update introduces a new button which will allow users to embed videos directly from Office Mix, Vimeo, and YouTube.

Microsoft has also added support for audio recordings with the latest update. Audio recordings are currently available for the iOS and OneNote Online for now. For those wondering, this feature is already available on the Android app, as well as the desktop app.

Moving on to Android, there’s a new floating badge on the OneNote app for Android which will allow users to easily capture and store notes from anywhere on the OS. This is, indeed, a major addition which should be a welcome addition for many users.
