OneDrive app for Windows gets a minor update

Microsoft today updated their OneDrive app for Windows Mobile to 17.7.1.  The update does not bring a lot of changes, and it’s probably just a minor update.

The OneDrive app for Windows lets you easily work with your personal and work files when you’re on the go.  Microsoft recently added the following features with a previous update:

  • Get to file info quickly using the new Details button on the command bar. We’ve also rearranged commands to make it easier to get to the actions you use the most.
  • Help protect your files in OneDrive by turning on “Additional device sign-in” in Settings. Instead of using a separate PIN code, unlock the app the same way you unlock your phone.
  • Improve the reliability and performance of camera upload:
    • faster background upload
    • reduced the number of auto-upload errors that require manual retry
