Share Sheets on smartphones were originally meant to simplify sharing data between apps and the outside world, but over time they have only become cluttered with more and more usually unused apps and features.

Samsung has finally addressed the feature with a new update to its Samsung Home Up app, part of Samsung’s Good Lock experience.

The new Share Manager feature finally lets you customise the Share SHeet, with the description noting:

“You can place apps that you use often to the front of the sharing window and hide features and apps that you don’t need. You can hide items such as shared data info, Nearby share, and Direct share and only show apps of your choosing in the sharing window.”

This means you can get rid of apps and features you never use and bring the ones you use most frequently to the top. You can also unhide the rarely used apps, meaning you will never be left up a creek without a paddle.

You can also choose your favourite in-app targets, eg. sharing directly to Feed, Stories, or Direct.

Good Lock and Samsung Home Up is available via the Galaxy Store and is compatible with One UI 2.5.  Check it out here.
