Last week, baseball and Windows Phone fans were very disappointed after the Windows Central revealed that the MLB will be dropping support for the At Bat app for 2015 season. That means that you won’t be able to view content from the 2015 season on the app anymore – however, keep in mind that you will still be able to view the content, but only from the previous season. Following the report from WC, a Reddit user has contacted MLB regarding this news and the response was:
“Thank you for your inquiry. At Bat is available for supported Apple, Android and Kindle Fire/Fire Phone mobile devices for the 2015 season. At Bat will not be supported on the Windows Phone 8 platform or RCA Android tablets.”
As you can read from MLB’s official statement, the league won’t be supporting its Windows Phone app anymore. This is, of course, very saddening for baseball and Windows Phone fans.
