We love all apps, but we love first party apps even more, as it shows companies and web services take supporting Windows Phone 7 seriously.
We are therefore pretty happy to see major entertainment properties IGN and the Daily Show show up in the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace.
The IGN app provides reviews, including video reviews, upcoming game news and industry gossip, top game listings and advice for gamers stuck at that tricky puzzle level.
The software, a must-have for serious gamers, is free, and can be found in Marketplace here.
The Daily Show is a bit more mainstream, but seems to offer less for a lot more. The app will get you the Quote of the Day and video clips for the most recent episodes, which can be shared on Facebook and Twitter.
The Daily Show costs $1.99.
