Office Mobile apps receive minor update in Windows Store

office-mobile

Microsoft today released a minor update to Office Mobile apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote) in Windows Store. There is no change log in the Store listing, so it must be just bug fixes and performance improvements.

With the last month’s update, Microsoft included Smart Lookup search feature in all these apps. With Smart Lookup, you can get useful information, images, definitions, and more. Press and hold on a word or phrase and choose Smart Lookup. Apart from Smart Lookup, Excel and PowerPoint apps have following new features in this update. In Excel, Microsoft added the ability to open comma separated value text files. In PowerPoint, Microsoft added support for Superscript and subscript.
