Office apps on Android get updated with new features for Insiders

Microsoft has released updates to the Office app on Android. The new updates bring some minor new features, and they are only available to Office Insiders in the Fast Ring for the time being.

In terms of features, the new update brings support for comments to the PowerPoint app. With the latest update, users can now reply to comments, add new comments, edit comments, or delete comments on their presentations right from their Android device. The update also brings a new numeric keyboard to the Excel app, making it possible for users to easily enter numbers into their spreadsheets. And lastly, Excel now supports files with Dialog sheets on Android devices.

Apart from that, there aren’t any other major new features. Of course, you are getting all the usual bug fixes which are always nice every now and then. If you’re an Office Insider in the Fast Ring, you can get the latest updates (version 16.0.8229.1001) for Word here, Excel here, and PowerPoint here.
