Back in February, Microsoft announced the release of that Word, Excel and PowerPoint technical preview on PCs, laptops and tablets running the Windows 10 Technical Preview. These “universal” Office apps are optimized for touch and mobile use and are a great way to take your work on the go, no keyboard or mouse required. Microsoft has now today confirmed that final versions of Office universal apps will be launched along with Windows 10 on July 29th. Also, Office 2016 desktop suite for Windows is still on track to be released later this fall. Earlier today, Microsoft released Office 2016 for Mac to Office 365 subscribers.
