Nyko Technologies, the rather inventive accessories manufacturer, today announced the launch of the Intercooler Grip for Xbox One, a high-quality cooler attachment for controllers with built-in fans and its own rechargeable battery. With a low profile design that fits comfortably in the hands without interfering with gameplay, Intercooler Grip introduces airflow to help fight sweaty palms. The Intercooler Grip for Xbox One is now available at Amazon for $20.

“Controllers can become slippery and hard to use during extended gameplay sessions due to sweat,” said Chris Arbogast, Nyko’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “We’ve solved this problem by bringing our console Intercooler technology to controllers, delivering airflow to the player’s palms with a discreet cooling fan.”

The Intercooler Grip simply fastens to the bottom of an Xbox One controller, cooling the user’s hands during intense gaming sessions. Its cool, quiet performance and flush design allow it to fit seamlessly onto the controller without impeding on its original feel. Intercooler Grip comes with a built-in rechargeable battery that does not draw power from the controller, and is charged using the included micro-USB cable.
