Nvidia announces GeForce GTX 1070 Ti to take on the Radeon Vega 56

As expected, NVIDIA today announced GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, the latest addition to their Pascal lineup of gaming GPUs. The pricing and specs of GeForce GTX 1070 Ti falls in between the popular GeForce GTX 1080 and 1070 GPUs. It packs 2,432 cores and 8 GB of memory running at 8Gbps for a total bandwidth of 256 GB/s. It will ship with a 1607MHz base clock and 1683MHz boost clock. With this power, the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti will be able to handle DirectX 12, 4K HDR and VR content easily.

Another good news is that the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti can also be overclocked allowing gamers to crank up the clock speeds. Nvidia’s partners have built cards with thermals and power accessories that allow gamers to push performance way past stock specifications.

The new GeForce GTX 1070 Ti will be available worldwide on November 2 from the NVIDIA GeForce Partner Network, including ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galaxy, Gigabyte, Innovision 3D, MSI, Palit, PNY and Zotac. And you can pre-order it here from Amazon for $449.
