NPD Oct/Nov stats show Windows Phone still bumping around the bottom in USA

The NPD has released their latest results for the October/November 2011 period in USA, and as we have grown accustomed to, the stats do not look very good for Windows Phone 7.

The orange line represents the drop in Windows Mobile sales over the last year, and it seems even when broken out separately still obscures the yellow Windows Phone 7 line.  While they both may have reached parity in October/November, according to Ross Rubin from the NPD combined they still present only between 2% and 3% of the market.

It remains to be seen if the introduction of great handsets like the HTC Titan II and Nokia Lumia 900 will reverse the trend, but even 5% would look pretty good right now.
