NPD Analyst Ross Rubin: Consumer Attitudes for Windows Phone is “Positive,”

Ross Rubin, Executive Director and Principal Analyst, Connected Intelligence at NPD Group in an interview  by CNET’s Maggie Reardon said that consumer attitudes for Windows Phone is positive and people are willing to give it a try.

He also added that Microsoft’s opportunity now will be to gain budget conscious consumers who have not invested in iOS or Android ecosystem.

Of course, Microsoft is now trying to do the same  and further with the release of Windows Phone Tango to target first time smartphone buyers.
