New to the marketplace is an app called EasyNotes.
It has most of the features that one would want to see in a note app, and more – it’s feature packed, beautiful and yet easy to use.It’s highly customizable, and by default look like a native app. It can look as unique as you want it to be, through custom backgrounds and templates. You can choose your own background, or choose no background at all. You can choose from 16 templates for note display.
When editing a note, orientation is unlocked for typing convenience.
For note list, quick menu can help you manage a note fast and easy. It behave much like the buttons for a voicemail in Visual Voicemail. It can be turned on or off under
Note list can behave like inbox in email app. Tapping on the left edge activates the checkbox for each note. Alternatively, you can tap on the edit button to activate
checkboxes for bulk delete, bulk marking as favorite and bulk marking as important.
You can group notes by folders. You can create custom folders to augment virtual folders(all notes, favorites, important and picture notes)
You can attach an image to a note. You can then see these notes(by tapping picture notes under folders pivot) with a custom template just for them.
You can create live tiles for each note, and all three sizes are supported. By default live tiles background color is phone’s accent color, but can be overridden with a
global custom color, which can then be overridden on a note level.
You can change global font name and size for notes, but can be overridden for each note.
You can passcode protect the app.
You can backup/restore notes on skydrive.
