Nokia has announced an updated for Nokia Transport (Transit in US) for Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8.
The update brings much of the features and user interface improvements of the Windows Phone 8 app to Windows Phone 7.
The app sports a more intuitive interface, with a more detailed map view for each part of your route. It also allows one to plan journeys well in advance, instead of just on the day and also more options, such as km vs miles units and departure vs relative times. Lastly it also makes journey histories easier to access.
The service is available in over 550 cities and 53 countries worldwide. See a list on the city coverage page.
