Nokia to release Network Profile app for Lumia owners

With the Nokia Lumia 800 being sold unlocked to European buyers, there are many carriers for which the handset just does not have settings.  We ran into the same problem at Nokia World, and had to look up the APN setting on the internet.

Fortunately it seems Nokia is aware of this issue.  Replying to an owner who was having an issue on an MVNO Nokia Support said:

"Hi Wietse,
During next week there will be a Network Setup app via the Marketplace  available that you can use to restore the settings.

I will keep track of the information. If you have it before like let me know and whether it worked, of course!

Have a good weekend.
Best regards, "

This promised release demonstrates Nokia is no software slouch, with Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive, Nokia Music, Ministry of Sound app and now the Networks Setting app all showing great commitment to their new OS.
