Nokia struggling to meet Nokia Lumia 920 demand in Italy

Whether it is due to low supply or high demand, Nokia is struggling to keep their Nokia Lumia 920 on their virtual shelves, even before the device has shipped.

In Italy their official retailer NStore.it have already sold out twice, and now the latest news, via NokiaPoweruser.com, is that orders that arrived after October 24th can now expect to receive their handsets only at the end of November rather than mid-November, when the device will reach carriers like TIM.

The news suggests there will be a gap in shipments from the store, and that the Nokia Store has already sold out their first shipment allocation.

Hopefully we will not end up in a situation of chronic shortages, but it seems that it may be a good idea to get one’s pre-orders in earlier rather than later.
