It used to be that whenever one watched a TV program it seemed the whole world was using a Mac computer, instead of only 7%. Now with a concerted push at product placement it seems nearly everyone on TV and in the movies are using a Windows Phone, which makes Lumia spotting when watching a movie rather fun for fans.
It seems if you were watching Lindsey Lohan’s new movie, the Canyons, Windows Phone spotters will be rather busy, as the phones show up twice in the trailer alone.
I dont know if all this product placement has an effect on sales, but with the sharp upward trajectory of Windows Phone sales it is certainly not making anything worse.
