Nokia Lumia 630 also heading to Australia soon

Nokia promised more than 100 carriers will be picking up their latest low-cost Windows Phone at launch, and it seems Vodafone in Australia is set to be one of them.

Auswinphone.com, who of course live in the future, reports on an announcement from Nokia which says:

 

12 May 2014, Sydney, AUSTRALIA: Microsoft’s first smartphone to launch with Windows Phone 8.1 update is coming to Australia this month. The Lumia 630 is a bright, feature-packed smartphone that delivers unrivalled value

The handset will be available online and in store via Vodafone, from the 4th of June for a low $179AU on a pre paid account.

It will also be widely available from all high street dealers, including Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks and Dick Smith, plus other leading retailers on the 27th of May. RRP of $249AU .
